Ghost

No matter where she went, no matter how busy the people around her, and despite feeling the weight of her life upon her, she felt invisible, like a ghost moving through the crowds, more solid and heavy than all of them, as if she were really the only one there, simply fleetingly passing through a world she could never enter.
